The castle was built in the middle ages (around the 12th century). It was 110 meters long and 10 to 30 meters wide.
Looking out over the Neste Valley and the villages: Tuzaguet, Bizous, Mazouau.
Tower of the ruins on top of the hill ‘Monts The Bear’. The Castle Montoussé was still used for military purposes until WWII.
‘La porte fortifee’, the entrance of the castle. The arched door measures 3m10 high and is more than 1 meter thick. The wall is 5m20 high at this place.
